Become A Dividends Volunteer
We love our Volunteers! To volunteer at any SCPS school, you must be a registered Dividends Volunteer. Even if you have registered in the past, you must update your information each school year. Visit the Dividends Volunteer Program website for more information."
Our volunteers enrich our school community by giving of their time and talents in the classrooms and on field trips. The first step to beciming a volunteer in our school is to visit the SCPS Community Involvement webpage and fill out the registration form to be a Dividend (click here).

School Advisory Council (SAC)
Each year, parents are elected to our School Advisory Council (SAC). The purpose of the Council is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Principal and to assist in the development of the educational program, and in the preparation and evaluation of the school improvement plan.
Reading Acceleration Program (RAP)
Reading Acceleration Program Volunteers assist first grade students who are reading below grade level. Volunteers tutor one student at a time for 30 minutes once a week. The students will be tested and appropriate materials will be provided prior to the beginning of the initial tutoring. RAP volunteers are required to attend an additional training at the county office.
