School Advisory Council (SAC)
Each year, parents are elected to our School Advisory Council (SAC). The purpose of the Council is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Principal and to assist in the development of the educational program, and in the preparation and evaluation of the school improvement plan.
Reading Acceleration Program (RAP)
Reading Acceleration Program Volunteers assist first grade students who are reading below grade level. Volunteers tutor one student at a time for 30 minutes once a week. The students will be tested and appropriate materials will be provided prior to the beginning of the initial tutoring. RAP volunteers are required to attend an additional training at the county office.
We also have volunteers who

- Help stock and organize our food and uniform pantry
- Work shelving books in our media center
